A Bidet For Your Nose

Every now and then when I get curious about the bizarre things people search for online, I head over to Google and check out the “hot trends.” During my visit the other day, I noticed an entry called “nose bidet”… so of course I bit.

After doing a bit of research, I discovered that Oprah had a doctor on her show that explained how sticking a mini tea pot up your nose and pouring water into your head is beneficial to your health! Oh how I can’t stand the people who follow her like sheep to the extent that they actually influence the highest searched terms on Google.

Now, for the coup de grace… check out this video demonstration of how the Neti Pot works and try not to laugh when the robot like woman pours the water into her sinus cavity.

Showed a friend Doc Oz ‘s demonstration from Oprah’s show – she now uses one and
Barb is a new healthy person. It is a miracle.

You just sound jealous of her fame. Try giving some concrete facts as to why this is not a good/useful product.

I never said it was not good/useful nor am I jealous in the slightest bit. I’d love to comment more but I am not sure what your point is! I only wrote about the product to bring attention to the new technology over at Google trends and a product that helps wash your nasal cavity, both of which I think were worth mentioning.

Where can I purchase a nose bidet? I live in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

A number of places sell it. The You Tube link above mentione Himalayan Institute Press. Google it and you will find a links to their products.

I saw the question where one reader was asking where she could buy a nose bidet / neti pot? Amazon.com has some good prices for it.

Charles is right, the name “nose bidet” is just funny, and really, watch the video and I dare you not to smile at least a little as the water enters one side and just runs out the other side! I definitely want to try this for my little sinus issues… and when I do, the humor will probably hit again the first time or two!
