The Ultimate, Yet Simple, Iron Man Halloween Costume

Do you ever imagine yourself web-slinging around New York like Spiderman, or zipping around the cosmos like the Silver Surfer? To fly around the world in the Mark IV Iron Man armor, terrifying young children with 300+mph flybys, would be quite a thrill. Although, messing with the Department of Defense might be a different story.

You can now be one step closer to Tony Stark with this awesome LED light up arc reactor shirt from ThinkGeek. Yes, it really lights up, and yes, it really is awesome. (Disclaimer: this unfortunately does not keep deadly shrapnel from entering your heart, although we’ve heard car batteries tend to work wonders.)

This shirt is guaranteed to impress your friends at parties or the hottie at the bar. Just don’t get into the nerdy details of how arc reactor technology could hypothetically work in the real world.

It seems that the light can get pretty bright on the shirt, and according to the product page, runs only on 3 AAA batteries. (Don’t ALL arc reactors?) Uni-beam functionality has been disabled on this shirt, but we have yet to officially confirm this. Let us know if you accidentally zap your cat in the process of attempting to use the uni-beam.

I’m a big fan of nerdy comic book shirts, and this Tony Stark light up LED one is no exception.

I think I just found my cheap and easy Halloween costume this year.

Shenanigans, this shirt is not impressing any hotties at the bar (or anywhere else).
