2014 is looking to be a big year for Polaroid. The company, who has taken a bullet ever since digital cameras swarmed their territory, is back with a punch as they introduced their new line of products at this year’s CES gathering.

As part of an upcoming line of action cameras, Polaroid’s super-adorable cube camera, the C3, makes capturing outdoor and underwater adventures in motion-action exactness effortless. Don’t underestimate this little 35-mm camera because it is given all the right camera features as any bad-boy DSLR.

According to Verge, the little camera is almost too small to be real!

c3 has a 120-degree wide-angle lens, which makes capturing HD video in 1280 x 720 and 640 x 580 resolution possible. With an ability to handle images up to 5 megapixels, this bite-sized camera contains 2MB of internal storage, and a micro SD expandability of up to 32 GB. And if those aren’t enough, Polaroid even installed a miniature microphone and an LED light to assist shooting in low-exposure settings.

If you are dying to know when this camera will hit the market, the company has given word that the C3 will ship later this summer, making it perfect for summer road-trips, vacations and adrenaline-pumping fun! For a measly $99, this camera is bound to become your photographic best friend, minus the clunk.

With 3 colors to choose from – red, blue and black – many of us will find one that’s well apt for our personality. For those of you who are GoPro-ers, you better make room for this little bugger because, with its small packaging, you just might be able to capture something new.

While the CES prototypes are still “in production”, this tactical move represents Polaroids efforts to tap into the action-photography niche. Who knows what their creative labs are brewing up next, only time will tell. But in the meantime, keep an eye out for these little dice like cameras.
