UK based company Ferguson Hill have gone and created some really big transparent home theater speakers. Some might say that the speakers at over 5 feet high might be just a little bit of overkill but if you have an extra 26 grand and 20 square feet of floor space to spare, these speakers pump out some serious quality sound.
The transparent horn shaped speakers push out sounds that range from 150 Hz to 20 KHz with no crossover and surprisingly will run on as little as 5 watts of power making them extremely efficient. If you are looking for even lower lows you will need to grab yourself one of their optional and artistically designed subwoofer units.
If you are a true audiophile and you have a wallet like Steve Jobs these Ferguson Hill speakers will surely be a nice upgrade to your current wimpy transparent speakers on that Mac computer…OR you could use that 26k to pick yourself up an army of 10 Mac Pro’s with a MacBook on the side instead.
