If you ever wanted to combine the process of taking your dog out for a walk and the process of getting ready for 80’s movie style street fight, than the Tactical Dog Leash is for you.
The Tactical Dog Leash is the newest product by Alpha Innovations, an online retailer of that specializes in frightening self-defense products like the “Kubaton,” a baton like apparatus which is perfect for taking out an opponents knee caps. They also make the “Jaw Jacker,” which is essentially just a regular brass knuckle made of reinforced polymer that they suggest is for “novelty purposes” only.
This functional leash follows the same concept as the Jaw Jacker (see comparison photo below), but is much lighter and is attached to a classic blue or red strap so you can be on the ready each time you take Fido out for a walk in your rough and tumble neighborhood.
It seems as though carrying something like this, in preparation for a bloody altercation, while you’re walking your dog, might just be asking for it. Why you would need to arm yourself to walk around the block is beyond me, especially with a protective dog, but I guess it’s good to always be prepared, especially if you’re particularly defenseless?
The Tactical Dog Leash, which is ergonomically designed and comes with quick release clips, could be a great talking point in your cul-de-sac – even if they are doing the talking behind your back.
