We received a Netvue Vuebell to put on our porch and it packs a wallop of spying fun!

But the Netvue Wireless Video Doorbell ensures a clear image, live video, and record for warning your neighbors of the pod person!
Despite fitting in the palm of your hand, the Netvue Wireless Video Doorbell offers a ton of impressive IoT features that function optimally, including the Doorbell Camera’s 720P HD camera, cloud storage, a two-Way audio intercom system, smart motion detection for a three to five meter range, and infrared night vision.
The hockey puck feels like a shrunken Mac Mini in the hand, and it is light, weatherproof, and ready to hardwire into your existing doorbell’s setup.
Believe it or not, the wiring instructions are pretty easy, as is the simple click and snap off of the back to access it.
Most homes have a 110-volt setup in their hardwired doorbell already and so replacing your old fashioned traditional bell with a Netvue Vuebell is a five minute swap-out (though I would recommend turning off your circuit breaker to that area and cut the power until you are done messing with the wire ends if you do not want your hair standing up all day).
For little more than a hundred bucks the Netvue offers an impressive array of features for monitoring who’s at your door.
As traditional security systems’ monthly fees skyrocket when the use of smarthome integrations are added, more cost-effective options, like the Netvue Vuebell are becoming available.
With so many new pieces of smart tech to choose from consumers have more options for cheaper costs, but need to weight which options appeal to their needs the most.
The Netvue App works seamlessly to hook up to your device and register in a minute’s time.
All it takes is a blue light on the powered box and then hitting its reset button and waiting for it to sync and show up on the smartphone’s App.
The downsides here include the cloud storage only being free for the first month and are then a couple bones a month to keep up the recordings.
That said: I am not sure I need a stock of creepy recordings of people at my door.
The bell chime is loud enough and the two-way intercom works well with the phone and the box outside, but the chime box in the home is battery-powered only via two AA’s (not included).
There is an AC adaptor available for somewhere between ten and twenty dollars, but it is not included in the compact package of the Netvue Wireless Video Doorbell.
The downsides out of the way, for the price the Netvue Wireless Video Doorbell offers an immense number of useful features for the homeowner looking to wisen up their doorbell system, including pretty darn clear night vision camera shots.
