The Ultimate Last Minute Christmas Gift

That’s it, time is up, the malls are closed and you just realized you forgot to grab that sort-of-special someone a gift (I say sort-of-special because, if they were really special you wouldn’t have forgotten them to begin with). No need to worry, all you need is five minutes and you can give anyone the gift of joyous entertainment with Netflix.

Why is this the ultimate Christmas gift, aside from the obvious fact that Netflix is awesome? It is because all you have to do is head over to the Netflix website, print out a gift card, and stick it in an envelope. Not to mention they offer varying subscription levels of 3, 6, and 12 months for various levels of caring.

I have given Netflix subscriptions as presents every year for the past 3 years and have had everyone call to thank me over and over because its the gift that truly keeps on giving. Unlike a gift certificate that gets used once, Netflix is a constant reminder of just how thoughtful you were this year. I personally can’t think of anything that brings me as much entertainment for so little cash every month and neither can the people I gave it to. All of them are still happy Netflix users.

If I’m wrong, you can call me out after Christmas in the comment section below and I will write a full article about just how wrong I was… or you can just thank me for the great idea.

  1. You don’t even need to stick it in a card, you can just print it and fold it into its own card. I always keep Netflix in my back pocket for a last minute gift.

  2. Netflix was one of the best presents ever. I cut out my $100+ a month cable bill last year after receiving Netflix and a Wii for X-mas. Take that comcast.
