Clean Up After Your Dog With Sha-Poopie

There are some things I come across online that are just too awesomely bad to not share with my loyal readers and the Sha-Poopie is one of them. This telescoping poop catcher is intended to make cleaning up after your dog a snap by saving you the trouble of having to bend over and pick up Fidos’ crap after he does his business.

The product page says all you have to do is “Just extend the telescoping pole (up to 45″) and use it to position it “just so” as your dog goes (After a few uses, your dog will be comfortable with the new system).” For the record, I am going to feel a little funny placing anything “just so” next to my dogs’ ass and the fact that my dog “will be comfortable with the new system” is a little hard to believe. It should also be noted that in its current state the Sha-Poopie is only rated for dogs up to 65 lbs which may leave some sitting around waiting for the XL model.

Now… would I use this product? Probably not but, that’s just me. It seems to me that for under 20 bucks the Sha-Poopie is at the very least a great joke gift.
